Principal Sherilee Swanepoel
BA, Dip Tchg, MEd Man
I began my teaching career in 1982 after training at Goudstad Onderwys Kollege and the University of South Africa where I graduated with a BA in History and Sociology. I have taught in a number of schools in New Zealand and South Africa, at secondary, intermediate and primary levels, and have lectured at tertiary level. I completed a Masters degree in Education Management and in 2016 I will be working with a mentor from the Springboard Trust to hone my strategic planning skills. I have been the principal at Oratia School since 2008. I love travelling, learning new languages, music and film, and in my free time I am learning to play the bass guitar and ukulele.
