Literacy
Our staff are engaged in professional development to raise the achievement of students in written language. We have regular staff meetings to analyse student achievement data, discuss how we teach written language and look at how we mark children's written work.
A key feature of our professional development is that teachers model good practice for each other and share ideas that really work in class. We also moderate our marking across a cluster of schools. Below are some photographs of staff meetings focussed on teaching written language.
