School Buses
Our School Bus Programme
Our bus programme is linked with bus runs for other schools, so it is important that the timetable is adhered to strictly. Parents are asked to keep well clear of the turning bay and adjoining bus stop when parking near the Shaw Road entrance.
We carry all children who live within our bus routes. There is no cost for this service. Please note that children whose homes are not on the Ministry's free bus routes may not travel on the bus without prior permission. Some routes are heavily loaded and extra pupils could mean that the bus is carrying more than its legal limit.
Our bus routes are listed below. Bear in mind that traffic flow, passenger demand and bus breakdowns could impact on the arrival times of buses at your pick-up point.
Our School Bus Timetable
MORNING
BUS 1
Leaves at 8.20am from the TV mast, picking up children on West Coast Road and then going up Parker Road, reaching the top at about 8.35am. It then returns down Parker Road and comes directly to school.
BUS 2
Leaves Piha at 8am, travelling to school via Scenic Drive.
BUS 3
Enters Carter Road from West Coast Road at 8am, picking up along Carter Road and Shaw Road and arriving at school at 8.20am.
BUS 4
Leaves the corner of Pine Ave / Forest Hill Road at 8.30am, travelling up Forest Hill Road and down West Coast Road to school.
AFTERNOON
BUS 1
Leaves school at 3pm, dropping children on Parker Road, West Coast Road (first stop Raroa Terrace) and Scenic Drive before finishing at the TV mast.
BUS 2
Leaves school at 3pm for Scenic Drive/Piha. First stop Anawhata Road (children checked in).
BUS 3
Leaves school at 3pm, travelling up Shaw Road and then down Carter Road.
BUS 4
Leaves school at 3pm, travelling up West Coast Road and down Forest Hill Road to Pine Ave.
