Oral Language Presentations In Room 15.

Room 15 have just finished doing their oral language presentations. Each child had to choose a section out of a book and practice reading it  at home. Then each child read it to the class.

Our Learning Intentions were:

* I have to read at the right speed.

* I have to make the words clear when I read.

* I have to make my voice interesting when I read.

* I have to make my voice loud enough for my audience to hear easily.

* I have to make eye contact with the audience.

* I have to hold my book in the correct position.

All of us had to work on one of those things and try and improve in that area the next time we read to the class.

These are our values apples. When we have given out 100 apples we will get to have a class party. Please encourage your kids to be helpful the rest of this term!

Values in Room 15.

In Room 15 we have been studying Values. The values we have been looking at are:

Community / Excellence / Integrity / Learning / Sustainability

In the afternoon room 15 hand out apples to kids who have done one of the things above.
